Serbian apple rakia is not lagging at all behind famous French Calvados, but it's not allowed to be named so, because it is a protected name and it's only for brandies made in France in the area of Calvados. Our apple drink is produced according to the traditional recipe with respect to modern norms and standards. Brandy is distilled in a copper brandy still, heated with an open wood flame, and treated with distilled water, which comes from the mountain Golija. There are no artificial flavors added.
